Tree Trimming
Trimming is important for the appearance and health of the tree. Proper trimming involves thinning out branches and limbs, especially when they are unbalanced or overweighted. We also remove dead limbs, cracked limbs, crossed limbs, and suckers when necessary. In most situations, we raise the “skirt” of trees to clear walkways, driveways, lawn areas, and roofs, and we prune branches that interfere with wires. We cut branches
and limbs at the branch collar to promote quick healing and less decay. We don’t recommend drastic pruning that reduces the tree’s overall size; we will only do this if the tree’s health will not be jeopardized. We generally do not top trees. Our tree trimmers can provide the expert care your tree needs to be healthy and beautiful.

Trimming is also important for the safety of those on the ground. Unhealthy, over-weighted, or cracked limbs are more likely to break and injure those below. Our tree trimming specialists can remove this liability for you.
